LaTeX-pie clipbook: Reference Guide

36. nonumber / number

1. If nothing is selected, then this clip inserts the \nonumber command at the current cursor position.

2. If there are only numbered formulas in the selected block of text, then all $$...$$ and \begin{eqnarray}...\end{eqnarray} pairs within the selection are changed to \begin{displaymath}...\end{displaymath} and \begin{eqnarray*}...\end{eqnarray*} correspondingly.

3. If there are only not numbered formulas in the selected block of text, then all \begin{displaymath}...\end{displaymath} and \begin{eqnarray*}...\end{eqnarray*} pairs within the selection are changed to $$...$$ and \begin{eqnarray}...\end{eqnarray} correspondingly.

4. If there are both numbered and not numbered formulas, then the user is asked for the type of conversion (if all formulas in the selection should be numbered or not).
